as demonstrated in the accompanying documents, i have been serving as a senior network technician since 2007, providing oversight and management of installation, operation and maintenance for a satellite communications network.  in this assignment, i analyze, troubleshoot and resolve all network issues, including assuring readiness of a disaster recovery plan, and supervise ten personnel.

 

earlier in my career, i fulfilled successful assignments with the united states army as a network operations chief, a brigade network systems controller overseeing four signal battalions, a platoon sergeant with responsibility for 40 personnel and communication equipment valued at $10mm+, and a variety of other supervisory roles over my 20-year military career. 

 

with a strong work ethic, i maintain a clear focus on meeting deadlines and identifying, developing and executing new ideas and approaches toward maximizing resources and generating positive results.  a hands-on manager, i am highly effective in working closely with other team members, working in multiple locations and adapting to new methodologies.  my particular expertise in verbal and written communication has served my organizations well in both training of subordinates and in daily additional contact with other staff and management.
