Successfully manage 7-member team in coordinating as many as 300+ volunteers investing 48K hours in supporting over 27 service areas. Actively recruit, interview, and screen candidates to secure top volunteers; consistently ensure critical compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) documentation criteria. Cost-effectively administer multiple annual budgets including Volunteer Services Department ($143,000), The Seasons Gift Shop ($600,000) and Volunteer Fund Raising Accounts ($316,000).
Oversee No One Dies Alone Volunteer program providing 24/7 bedside patient companionship focused on meeting the needs of palliative care patients who have no other resources of support. Effectively network with educational institutions and community agencies ranging from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Kalamazoo College to Gift of Life, American Cancer Society and RSVP, to broaden programs reach and services.
Spearhead planning and coordination of diverse fund raising initiatives ranging from The Seasons Gift Shop, generating $93K+ annual profits to The 2nd Blessings Thrift Shop and Light Heart Living Cookbook project.
