As demonstrated in the accompanying resume, I offer prior professional background as Supervisor with Correctional Management Company, overseeing 110 detained youth, and Youth Development Specialist with Corrections Corporation of America in a maximum security environment; more recently, I was Division Director with the State of Indiana, where I was responsible for managing 45 residential staff, writing divisional policy, managing our department budget, and directing operations. 

 

While my more recent experience has been in positions as a small business owner and broadcaster, I have maintained my focus on building a career in criminal justice as Crime and Safety Chairman with Bristols Home Owners Association as well as a member of the Town of Fishers Town Government Academy and Citizens Police Academy.  Complementing this, I recently earned a BS in Leadership Supervision and previously completed an AS in Public Service.
