Computer Network Technician

 

In Network Technician role for the Information Management Department (IMD) at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), worked at the Operation Center Help Desk for both the Patuxent River and St. Inigoes Naval Air Station bases, supplying Tier 3 support.  During migration to MS Exchange, focused on email transition and providing other software development support.     

 

In Help Desk support role, provided solutions for telephone inquiries regarding complex IT issues, thereby ensuring increased customer productivity.  Interfaced with various corporate sites to assure timely dissemination of information in support of end-user satisfaction.  When necessary, served as a resource for Help Desk Manager, recognizing corporate-wide needs by providing project management capabilities to improve Help Desk performance.  This included maintaining currency with all corporate products, policies and support delivery methodologies.
