My career includes 20+ years in aircraft maintenance, avionics, and flight operations, military aviation maintenance, 3 years experience as a Quality Assurance Lead Inspector and Certified Airframe and Power plant Mechanic with 8+ years experience as an Avionics Director, Avionics Technician, and Airframe and Power plant Mechanic and 5+ years flight operation experience as a flight instructor and as Second-in-Command pilot for a regional airline. I consistently communicate the corporate vision to the internal members of the organization I work within so that everyone understands their role in achieving these goals, ensuring that the action steps are taken to ensure that goals are met and developing action plans to achieve those goals. Thereafter, I consistently prepare recommendations for improvements, controls, new methods, and other changes to improve the efficiency of operations.

 

During my career, I ve gained notable experience leading and training other employees in the appropriate procedures related to the overall performance and activities of authorized mechanics, repairmen, inspectors, and designated examiners for the quality of their work and compliance with Federal aviation regulations. I have evaluated the performance of flight instructors and designated pilot examiners who instruct and examine candidates for private and commercial pilot certificates. As a Mechanic, I have personally inspected single- and twin-engine piston aircraft for airworthiness after major repairs or alterations and assessed repair stations and other maintenance facilities to ensure that equipment, mechanics, and services comply with their approved programs. Additionally, during my career I have conducted spot and ramp inspections, airport inspections, and en route station inspections for safety problems and adequacy of facilities.

 

My previous duties, just like that of an Aviation Safety Inspector, consist of coordinating operations of a complex, interrelated, and interdependent nature, where unknowns and numerous contingency factors were involved. With this experience, I formulate policies and procedures relevant to daily operational and special organizational program based on information of a conceptual nature from varied and complex sources. With vast knowledge of the principles and techniques of organization, planning, staffing, training, and reporting, and a strong background in and management that I bring to your organization.
