TECHNICAL KSA: Ability to direct and manage education programs for adult learners.
I have continually served as primary support resource due to my effective ability to direct and manage education programs for adult learners. I consistently provide trainings and educated recommendations to staff in various areas of the aviation industry.
In my prior position as the Manager of Continuous Improvement at United Airlines, I was relied upon to manage the development of Lean Six Sigma concepts for Airport Operations at division and corporate levels, vital to enhancing corporate processes and procedures. I also served as the Technical Representative for the Lean Six Sigma Program. I actively assisted in the development of training curriculum for division personnel and delivered training on an as needed basis in support of LLS projects. In addition, I trained, mentored and motivated staff, playing an instrumental role in the development of top performing team members.
While working as the Maintenance Services Supervisor at United Airlines, I successfully supervised and evaluated the performance of a staff of 160 line mechanics, further illustrating strong leadership skills. I was relied upon to lend my industry expertise toward conducting on-the-job training program and maintaining training records.
Also, as Project Manager, LEAN C Components at United Airlines, I trained and educated employees on Lean problem-solving skills. I successfully trained, developed, mentored and led top-performing teams committed to providing superior service. I also proactively directed motivated teams and created a collaborative environment conducive to achieving high levels of employee retention and job satisfaction.
