As demonstrated in the accompanying resume, I offer approximately 25 years of military, intelligence, counterterrorism and law enforcement experience.  Throughout my progressive career, I have repeatedly demonstrated my knowledge of a wide range of physical security concepts, principals and a variety of physical hardware and systems.  My record shows repeated success, resulting in progressive increased responsibilities and promotions.  I successfully analyze current security processes, evaluate alternatives and options, and implement creative solutions to meet organizational objectives.

In my current position as a Security Manager at BAE Systems, I contribute dynamic leadership skills in overseeing a team of security professionals in supporting security programs and facilities in the Advanced Technologies Division.  I am also relied upon to apply my physical security expertise as the current Security Lead on expansion of BAE Systems facilities to support various security clients for government contracts.

Serving as an Information Security Manager at Windermere Information Technology Systems, I contributed my knowledge of physical security concepts toward managing all aspects of security functions.  I successfully designed, developed and oversaw the installation of a new SCIF, including: alarms, locks, access control systems, and information technology infrastructure for the UL-listed alarm system.  Demonstrating advanced communication and analytical skills, I effectively negotiated and coordinated with government security clients, establishing an innovative wireless encryption signal transmission system while still meeting DCID requirements.

In addition, I spearheaded all aspects of establishing and maintaining SCI security programs nationally for Booz-Allen & Hamilton as the Senior Security Administrator, working directly with both private industry and government agency clients.  Applying my extensive knowledge of physical security, I conducted numerous security information presentations and provided classification guidance, while overseeing total personnel, physical, OPSEC, INFOSEC, and computer security plans and implementations.  Among my accomplishments, I successfully constructed a 28,000 sq. ft. secure distributed simulation facility with secure communications throughout the continental United States for a government client and its contractors. Additional features included DOD closed areas, restricted area, communications room, video teleconferencing, SARF & SCIFs; as well as 9 alarm systems, cross platform classified processing, special cooling, and distributed clean power.

To complement my successful professional background, I have completed extensive training in physical security, technologies, management, and related topics over the past 20 years and maintain current knowledge of emerging trends and technologies.  I have recently taken a Defense Security Services FSO class, JPAS Defense Security Services course, and DCID Physical Security Class, amongst others.
