During most, if not all of my career, time management and keep track of appointments, meetings, and special events has been a significant factor contributing to my professional success. All of these activities had to be completed in a timely and succinct manner, prioritizing the most import aspects to be addressed.

As a Servicing Portfolio Analyst, I exhibited skill in analyzing and evaluating business/work processes and information flow, and recommending solutions to improve operational efficiency. To identify and resolve financial and or auditing issues I mastered Fannie Mae and Freddie policies and procedures in managing an accounting database and auditing to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies. I also completed pre-implementation audits to determine if systems and programs under development will work as planned which reduced downtime significantly and increased efficiency.
I found it necessary to collaborate with other departments including discussing financial and regulatory matters including Credit Risk Management, Audit, Financial Reporting, and Deal Management Departments. This prevented serious miscommunications because each department was aware of the activities of the others.
In this position, as well as most of my other positions, I produced accurate financial reports in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and general standards. I also ensured complete compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) regulations by honing the business process documentation and testing procedures used to validate control effectiveness.
