         Apply dynamic leadership talents toward directing top-performing police personnel in enforcing laws and ordinances, protecting life and property, preserving order, and preventing crime, including coordinating all daily LE operations.

         Provide cruiser patrol and backup as necessary, along with facilitating prompt and efficient responses to emergencies.

 

Patrolman (1986 C 1998)

         Performed as a first responder to critical incidents and completed all preliminary investigations pertaining to homicides, robberies, burglaries, aggravated assaults, domestic violence, traffic accidents / congestion, and narcotics.

         Evaluated citizen complaints objectively to determine essential response requirements, along with reviewing situational facts, providing evaluations / investigations, and relaying information to appropriate agency personnel or dispatch.

         Observed suspicious persons / vehicles within legal probable cause to investigate and detain and / or arrest as required.

         Strategically implemented proactive community policing programs instrumental to boosting public safety.

 

Special Police Officer (1985 C 1986)

         Ensured compliance with law enforcement protocol while working traffic details and general police duties on either a weekend or on-call basis, along with performing emergency dispatch for police, fire, and ambulance as necessary.
