         Led extended partnership development between the company and The Tech Museum as the Presenting Sponsor of their annual Tech Challenge competition which invites 100s of Bay Area students to compete in design-challenging activities.

         Collaborated with teams to develop content and design for a corporate lobby Living the Brand project, including managing content development for patent recognition section and co-producing a video promoting the global community program.

         Developed program branding and mission statements, and directed cross-functional teams in designing a community logo.

Stars & Strikes® Community Fundraising Program (Established 1990)

 

Direct all aspects of this unique Silicon Valley fundraising program which serves as the cornerstone of Cadence Design Systems, Inc. s community involvement since 1990.  Successfully leverage company relationships with business partners, vendors, customers, and competitors; develop sponsor solicitation materials; plan and handle event logistics; and coordinate executive speaking notes and communications which were instrumental in making a difference for a single non-profit beneficiary.  Lead the program in raising over $13 million to date, of which 100% has been reinvested within the community.  Cadence executives and management teams recruit sponsors to contribute to and participate in employee-led fundraising events culminating in a popular bowling tournament whereas members of the San Francisco 49ers and San Jose Sharks organizations bowl among 59 corporate teams.

 

Spirit of Stars & Strikes® Community Fundraising Program (Established 2002)

 

Introduced and implemented this global fundraising program which runs concurrent with the company s corporate Stars & Strikes® program, including directing international sites in selecting a local beneficiary and organizing site-specific grassroots fundraising events in a synchronized spirit of giving campaign.  Successfully achieved over $3.5 million in donations to local communities worldwide by encouraging global sites to uphold the theme of Think Globally C Act Locally.
