Perform various adxxxxxxnistrative and practice duties; answer phones, schedule patients and staff, registration, authorization/referrals, billing/coding functions, greet patients and physician and communicate with vendors.
Conduct triage, patient interviews, chart documentation; input data collection and compose case reports; inform patient of test results, review follow-up health plans, schedule and/or coordinate return visits, respond to patient inquiries and refer to appropriate office or individual.
Maintain all patient files, billing/insurance records, and other files and records related to the operation of the practice; obtain pre-authorizations, process invoices and spearhead collections efforts.
Prepare treatment rooms for patient exaxxxxxxnations, keep rooms neat and clean, sterilize instruments and dispose of contaxxxxxxnated supplies.
Faxxxxxxliar with bariatric surgical patients; trained in wound management and post operative complication recognition.
Assess patients to obtain medical information; measure their vital signs, weight, and height, show patients to exaxxxxxxnation rooms and prepare them for the physician.
Prepare and adxxxxxxnister medications as directed by the physician; explain treatment procedures, medications, diets and physicians' instructions to patients.
Help physicians exaxxxxxxne and treat patients, hand instruments and materials, replace bandages and remove sutures.; authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies.
Faxxxxxxliar with techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries and disease; identify symptoms, treatment alternatives and preventive health-care measures.
