Ÿ  Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, use proper equipment including; engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices, examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.

Ÿ  Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes, follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas.

Ÿ  Confer with customers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements; perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.

Ÿ  Repair and service air conditioning, heating, engine-cooling, and electrical systems, test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.

Ÿ  Tear down, repair, and rebuild faulty assemblies such as power systems, transmissions, and steering systems.

 

 

C & J Service Center (1999 to Present)

Ÿ  Work on a team with one other mechanic to provide a broad range of automotive repairs for a busy service center; maintain accountability for all transmission repair and rebuilds, and oversee day to day business operations in the owners absence.

Ÿ  Utilize extensive knowledge of diagnostic repairs and NapOn diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair vehicles; perform complex wiring, and hydraulic repairs for steering, brakes, fuel systems and transmissions.

 

Merrill Automotive (1996 to 1999)

Ÿ  Began tenure in position as a Mechanic, and received promotion to Service Manager; led all customer relations initiatives, inventory control, vendor relations and staff supervision.

Ÿ  Oversaw day to day activities for 3 full time Mechanics; personally performed extensive automotive repairs, and managed new vehicle preparation duties for newly purchased automobiles.
