Served as Attack Commander and Flight Lead for fighter/airlift gorilla attack package. Provided combat support under hostile fire in Operation URGENT FURY Grenada Rescue Action 1983-Flew 5th aircraft into OA and rescued college students and wounded soldiers under hostile fire conditions from Cuban ZSU 23-2 Anti-Aircraft and small arms fire. Commander in charge of all aspects of mission execution, flight safety and crew management. Extensive joint special operations experience working with USN Seals, USMC Force Recon, USA Rangers/Green Berets, Delta, CIA, etc. Cruise experience on US Navy Aircraft Carrier USS Kitty Hawk with A-7 Corsair II Attack squadron C 1986. Exposure to USN Flight Ops, Navy Air Component management, Ship maneuvering, Carrier Battle Group Ops, etc. Qualified in Special Operations Low Level, with extensive high and low-level combat infiltration/airdrop/HALO-HAHO experience.
