1999 to 2002:  GERMAN SPECIAL PROFILES - Warehouse Manager

   Provided leadership and oversight for day to day warehouse operations for this leading steel importer based in Germany with a significant client base across North America. 

   Ensured conformance to Standard Operating procedures for shipping and receiving; managed HR initiatives, performance management and staff development processes to optimize production results.

   Created a highly effective floor plan for 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse; created workable space to safely and efficiently unload over 90 truckloads of steel.

   Introduced a checks and balances system to optimize package labeling and loading, reducing shipping errors by 95%.

   Developed a lucrative scrap re-selling program; developed relationships with scrap yards to secure a new revenue stream.

1993 to 1998:  INDEPENDENT METALS/METALS USA - Operations Manager

   Began tenure in position as Production Supervisor and achieved promotion to Operations Manager
