         successfully designed a hybrid vehicle capable of 45-mile zero emission travel from the ground-up, including handling all body styling, powertrain, drivetrain, steering, and performance analysis.

         researched and developed a micro-scaled pump useful in medical applications, along with proactively working with teams to build and test pump designs, and coordinate external lab use.

         used microsoft excel to accurately compute theoretical data for comparison with empirical data.

 

twin jet vs. single jet flow (spring 2009)

         tested and surveyed velocity profiles of twin- and single-jet configuration, including observing twin jet simulation using a single jet and building an automated pitot tube surveyor using labview, as well as stepper motors in two dimensions to traverse the velocity profile.

 

airfoil testing (spring 2009)

         tested naca0010 and sd7037 airfoils at various velocities and angles of attack, along with creating and analyzing airfoil characteristics comparison plots.
